Raj Singh Puri, who has lived his life in London for 24 years, finds life difficult when his beautiful, doting wife passes away. He has three daughters, the youngest of whom is Isha (Kareena Kapoor), to look after.

Ronit Malhotra (Hrithik Roshan) is a handsome, young guy who belongs to a rich family and is very close to the his family.

So what is the film all about? The story traces the emotional journey of these three characters thereon. Raj Malhotra can't communicate with his children since he has always treated them as a strict orthodox father would. Maybe it is time to change his way of thinking and treat them as friends.

The much-awaited songs of Yaadein are out and the response is mixed. The songs are the kind that grow on you. Of course, the words will definitely fall into place when one watches the film. The Ghai touch is evident in the songs. A must-mention is the title track Yaadein, sung by Hariharan, which is beautifully picturised on Jackie Shroff and Hrithik Roshan. Expertly interspersed are some moments between Jackie Shroff and Rati Agnihotri. They are nothing short of brilliant. There is enough of Hrithik for his fans to look forward to. His charms work all the way in the racy 'Chamakti Shaam Hai' and the passionate 'Jab Dil Miley'. 'Eli Re Eli' is picturised on the three sisters, in tandem with Ghai's earlier Taal se taal mila.

Avni Vasa and Himani Rawat (they play Kareena?s sisters) make their debut in Yaadein along with Kiran Rathod. Kiran plays a character who falls in love with Hrithik in the film.

Subhash Ghai terms Yaadein his most creative work ever. According to him, he has just responded to the raw emotions of the characters and the events that are happening in their world. That's when the writer in him picked up a pen and started writing a film with a full bag of emotions from his heart, and new thoughts from his mind for this ever-changing society.

As Ghai says: Yaadein is, beginning to end, a non-stop roller coaster, with a storyline you will never expect and characters you cannot forget.?

Anu Malik's music, Subhash Ghai and the star cast have generated so much curiousity about Yaadein that the wait until July 27 seems like a long wait.
