The rumours started many months ago and have spread like wildfire lately
that Madhuri Dixit is pregnant. Some so-called prestigious publications and
web sites even published that she had given ultimatums to her producers as
to when to wrap up certain portions of their movies since she was expecting,
but we are proud to give you the truth.
I was fortunate enough to meet Madhuri recently, who is glowing and as
beautiful as ever, effervescing with the bubbly charm which had me smitten
years ago, and she is looking 'WOW' to say the least. She is looking very slim
and if my word is not good enough just double check with how she was looking
at the Screen Videocon awards and more recently at the Filmfares. By no
means is Madhuri expecting a child at this moment in time and to verify this
and put a stop to the rumours which continuously hound her here it is
straight from her family:
Madhuri's Mom clarifies: "They have been saying she's two months pregnant,
she's two months pregnant for over five months now. That should make her ten
months pregnant. First they were getting her married every year and now they
are claiming she's pregnant for over nine months.! In any case she has been
here in India for over four months now. Don't tell me that a pregnancy
doesn't show up in four months. It should have been showing by now. People
write nonsense all the time. It is not true and it is not something to hide.
When it happens, we will be the first to announce to the world. After all,
it is a happy occasion."
Madhuri herself burst out laughing when updated about the rumours. "Actually
why don't people simply say that I've already delivered twins who are new
teenagers? That's how absurd it all sounds. Tell me, do I look pregnant? In
fact, I have never been this slim. And shouldn't my so called pregnancy be
showing by now considering that the rumours have been around for four months
now. It's all rubbish. I will be the happiest to announce it when it does
happen," she laughed in her inimitable style which still mesmerises anyone
who passes by. And so there you have it.
Don't believe all you read from gossip mongers and storytellers, maybe the
press should take a step back and look at where its heading because it seems
to be a very low point if it is taking potshots at Aishwarya and Salman and
now spreading such rumours about someone as sweet as Madhuri Dixit.
