Fardeen Khan decided to have a relaxed gathering at his bungalow following
the release of Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega which too has been carrying
promising reports, stating it is the funny underdog of the year which should
put Fardeen, Saif and Aftab in a different light altogether. His Love Ke
Liye... co-star, Saif Ali Khan and some of his friends decided to stay over
at Fardeen's place for more fun. The party began around midnight.
Since the mini party was unplanned and a spur of the moment decision,
Fardeen had a shortage of food and so ordered dinner from the Holiday Inn
hotel in Juhu which is close by. After a couple of rounds of drinks the guys
were hungry and so one group left to collect their order from the Holiday
Inn. There they bumped into Aamir Khan and his team of Lagaan who were
dining at the coffee shop which is near the entrance and open at all hours.
Aamir and his friends were invited to join Fardeen's party and they agreed
making the impromptu bash an event.
But by the time Aamir and gang reached Fardeen's place with food, Saif had
left for home and Fardeen had switched off the swimming pool lights, changed
into his trunks and decided to have a late moonlight swim. When he saw Aamir
entering his bungalow, Fardeen rushed to change and soon joined the gang for
one more round of drinks in honour of the new arrivals. After about an hour,
Aamir and gang wanted to exit as they had to leave to go abroad the next
day.
As they were walking out of the bungalow, Paul Blackthorne, the English
actor who plays Captain Russell in Lagaan, slipped and fell into the
swimming pool with his backpack on him. Aamir immediately lunged to pull
Paul out but couldn't save his camera which was soaking wet by now, but all
left in good spirits.
The rest of the guests ate and were merry for ages and Fardeen finally got
to bed at four in the morning.
Just another party with as much fun and madcap capers as Fardeen's latest
release Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, going to show the best parties are
those that just...happen!
