Juhi gives birth
Juhi Chawla gave birth to a baby girl on February 21, 2001 at 6.30 p.m. at
the Breach Candy Hospital. Jai Mehta is said to be ecstatic at the birth of
his daughter and Juhi too cannot contain her joy.
Juhi was last seen in
'Karobar' and 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani' and her next release starring
Shah Rukh Khan, 'One Two Ka Four' is slated to release next month and is
already one of the year's hottest films and has mindblowing music by AR
Rahman. The actress' career has seen many highs and lows for over a decade
but since her first film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', she has undoubtedly been
loved by the public and was the first model-turned-actress to give so many
hits.
Jai said: "She is a big baby, almost seven pounds. We haven't named her yet
as we have to take out her 'raashi' which is a normal practice among
Gujaratis. Once that is done, then we will name her. Actually, it still hasn't sunk in that we have had a baby. She's so cute. And we can't make out who
she looks like at this point. Every time I look at her, her features look
different. I guess baby features change each hour".
