Welcome to Asiangigs.com.
I’m DJ Harrie - also known as DJ H in the Mainstream Club world (Topjox.com),
after touring Aiya Napa for the last couple of years and developing severe contacts at the
world famous Kool Klub I arrived back in London and started work for PLAYAZ UK DJ Agency in
1998 having being spotted by the Director of the company wearing my Aiya Napa Kool Klub T-Shirt
in a local bar.
In Aiya Napa I have also been given the name as ‘Dirty Harrie’ and also the man with the long
hair!!!. DJ’s I met in Napa where Graham Gold, Nico Da Funkster, Pied Piper, MC Unknown and
the legendary House frontrunner Danny Rampling from Radio 1.
If you've just visited my Asian Floor Fillers Chart and Album Reviews to get
yourself updated
in what’s kickin’ in the Asian Scene, I would like to Thank You for your time, but now you may
also want to know what is BRAND NEW AND UPCOMING in the Mainstream be it House/Trance/
R n B/
Garage/Pop.
My Top 20 chart is roughly six weeks ahead of record release date.
The chart is made up of a mixture of House/Trance/Garage/R n B/Pop. The above 20 Tracks
tend to generate the best reaction from the crowds. The tracks which are contained in the chart
may sometimes not necessarily get released. This chart then gets sent to specialist industry DJ
Magazines and then gets compiled into other sources and hits Radio DJ’s and retailers.
For your information Club DJ’s who present shows on the radio such as Pete Tong or Judge Jules
from RADIO 1 receive about 140 Records every week!!!!!!! So there’s no time to get bored, as
with myself I have the Asian Scene to contend with aswell!!!!!!!!! So eat your heart out Pete
Tong/Judge Jules.
Every week I will be reviewing 3 Tracks from the above Promo Chart to give you a taster
of things to come and tunes which may be popular and which you may want to go out and buy.
The above chart gets updated on Monday/Tuesday every week.

BK – REVOLUTION - NUKLEUZ (NO 1)
This week's highest New Entry goes straight in at number 1. Are you surprised??
Well I guess if your not into the ‘Clubland’ scene then you will be. BK is a well established DJ in the Hard House scene, and this year has toured all over. He has had many releases on the NUKLEUZ label. Please note that this track is only for ‘The Party Harder’ and for those who like to cause a REVOLUTION on the dancefloor. XMAS is only round the corner, and for some of us it’s a happy time of year, and for some of us it’s a lonely time of year. Some of us poor and some of us feel rich…..Which one are you? However, for those of us who are just gonna go and get ourselves PLASTERED on NYE but haven’t decided where to spend their money; I suggest THE DOME…..yep it’s happening again just as last year, and for those of you who went will know just how pumping the atmosphere was!! Last year Mr Dave Pearce played the DIRT DEVILS – THE DRILL (no I’m not taking the mick out of the fire fighters!) as his 12 Midnight tune, into the New Year. Any ideas what that track will be this year?? It’s out this week. Get your tickets now!
AQUAGEN – HARD TO SAY I’M SORRY - AATW (NO 2)
Before you say what I think your going to say…..NO this is not a dance version of Elton John’s timeless classic, anyway the song title isn’t quite the same, BUT it is a dance version of the PETER CETERA/CHICAGO track which originally is a ballad/love song. This is AQUAGEN – HARD TO SAY I’M SORRY. At the moment there seems to be a trend for cheesy/tranceee cover versions, but I really really like this, and I play it everyday!! I would say that this is a ‘bring everybody on the dancefloor’ track, just as S Club 7’s – REACH which ALWAYS works. I don’t know about anybody else but I wouldn’t be frightened to play this out. It’s a sentimental time of year, and this for me would be perfect. I can just imagine arms swaying from side to side when this comes on. As yet there is no release date, but boy is it stupidly catchy!! I have heard rumours of what the XMAS no 1 is going to be……lets just say your not far away…oh peace and ONE LOVE.
TLC – GIRL TALK - ARISTA (NO 4)
It’s been a huge year for R n B and it just gets better and better! TLC known for hits like Waterfalls, No Scrubs and the not so far UNPRETTY. Do you think the girls are past it though?? They have been away for some time, with acts such as Ashanti, Ja Rule, J-Lo, Destiny’s Child, Missy Elliott, Nelly dominating, is there a future left for them? As most R n B tracks are about relationships this is no exception, it’s basically what girls do when there blokes not around…..yeah GIRL TALK!! They’re good at it too! Nothing better to do? It’s a grower but I think there is something missing in this track, I mean it gets you moving but it’s a little slow for the peak time dance, ok in the background while you sip away at whateva! It’s out in the first week of December. I guess it will enter the Top 20. A good tune but can be a lot better. Cut out the talk!
That's about it for this week have fun C U Around.
