Unstoppable (RDB)

Unstoppable (RDB)
Released 1st Oct 2003 (7/10)
RDB - The real banging band are back. Are they? Let's see.
Intro leads you via a jam packed club house into the album.
Tenu Tak Tak Ke Sajna
Excellent lyrics and drum beat. Very popular amongst the listening audiences Kicks on the dance flor, but would not be amongst their best.
Kuldeep Purewal's vocals are top.
Buleean
Good lyrics with traditional beats and the very echoey effects to the
vocals of RDB trio. Excellent track for background music at a wedding.
Daru
A perfect excuse script for the 'drinkers' of this world. A sad track with wonderful lyrics and vocals of
Lembhar Hussainpuri. Has a good beat with a traditional sounds and beat.
Rydem Ryder is thrown in to exhibit his phenomenal MCing skills. He really shines!
RDB Valay
The trademark drum beats with beautiful vocals of Manak E. Nothing like 'biggin yourself up'. Is it? Lyrics by
Sohan Bhukhriwala are good.
Sketch
A message to the music buying public...
We want to know when the millions of music buyers are going to get value for money and not have to pay fortune for mediocre or sometimes diabolical albums!
Teray Bin
Bollywood meets MCing meets Bhangra.
OK filler.
Dil Diye Raaniye
The vocoder & the Vocals of Manjeet Singh to another standard beat. Average lyrics by
Harjog Singh do not help. The drum beats and instruments only bring this upto an 'average track' level. The MC
E=MC does a good job on this one with a unusually 'soft input'.
Nachdey
Ranjit Mani sings and writes this track. Tumbi rules!
Dhol beats and oy hoy shouts are here in full swing!
Excellent dance track - this one. Lyrics are just as good.
Yo
This one is Mecca for all those budding MCs.
Rydem Ryder is an excellent new find and stand against any of those top flight MCs out there in the mainstream.
excellent lyrics and beat to this track!
Bass Test
Can your music system handle this?
These boys can produce some wonderful sounds...
RTD2 is back!
Himmat
What is this?
More of E=MC's MCing to a bit of tumbi. Sounds good. Vocals and lyrics of Harjog Singh are good.
Don't mess with us punjabis - is the message. Again!
We are also the best 'aashiqs' going.
Jatt da truck
Another version of this old time favorite. Traditional instruments and beats with some modern day upgrade to the rhythms.
DJ Sangha's attempt is average.
Yaad
A punjabi ballad.
Beautiful vocals of Master Rakesh. The talent is obvious. Takes you back...home.
Bonus tracks
Some remixes of the RDB hits like Putt Sardaran de. Additional bass added to this one and some more sound effects (or was that my speakers?).
Patt lay Soniye Patt Lay
Calling all lovers of desi music. MCing skill of E=MC meets beautiful vocals of Ranjit Mani (I think!). An excellent addition to the album
Overall the album makes a good addition to any collection.
Will not be setting any landmarks in music, but is entertaining enough.
Big respect to the whole crew in bring more new talent to the public eye with this new album.
RDB - the DJs have done it again. They certainly have a fan following which is not going to diminish with this album.
